You HAVE to see this Texas traveling wedding chapel! It almost wasn’t a thing.

The 2020 Pandemic has caused so many professionals in the wedding and events industry to pivot, switch gears, reflect, and seriously rethink ways to keep their businesses relevant in such a turbulent time.

Ravin and Ryan, from Wolf Weddings, are no exception. Though they already have established very successful wedding planning, floral, bartending, DJ and photo booth businesses, the excess downtime led them to the grand idea of creating the cutest, tiny, traveling chapel—they call it the Texas Traveling Chapel.

Texas Traveling Chapel

Before building, they did their research and found only one other chapel like this in the U. S. and it wasn’t in Texas. So, they built. There are so many unique ways for couples to make their wedding dream day their own, but I don’t think any are as intriguing as this tiny, traveling chapel. This miniature, traveling chapel is the perfect way for a couple to add the look and all the feels of a church wedding.

While couples can’t actually get married inside the chapel, it is definitely an excellent choice for any couple who is wanting to be able to incorporate an aspect of getting married in a church while not actually being “in” a church. It has mock church windows and a steeple that extends about four feet above the roof peak. It gives you all the church feels.

Its neutral aesthetic of grey on white leaves limitless possibilities for added décor. Simple garlands of greenery can be added for a classic, simplistic look, or big, vivacious bouquets of long-stemmed vibrant colored-flowers can bring a more striking look to the chapel.

The chapel is so versatile, literally anything in between can be done to enhance the outside with flourishes of the couple’s personality or wedding theme.

It’s perfect for microweddings or elopements. Its size and weight enable the chapel to be parked in a number of spaces—almost anywhere a traditional wedding arch could go. The company also partners with other top professionals to create all-inclusive packages so you can say “I do” with ease. (Contact Wolf Weddings to inquire!)

It travels down the highway on a short, flatbed bumper-pull trailer (which it is permanently affixed to) and is so lightweight it can be pulled by an SUV or ¼-ton truck. (Ryan and/or Ravin deliver the chapel.) Once on-site and parked, trailer skirting and floral arrangements hide the trailer and wheels and the spire/steeple is attached for the final touch.

It can be a romantic enhancement to the wedding venue of your dreams or delivered right to your door transforming your very own backyard into a dreamy ceremony spot. This tiny chapel is the perfect backdrop to just about any type of outdoor wedding theme.

Couples looking for a customized wedding with a church feel, but don’t want the confines of a church wedding can wed just about anywhere with this traveling chapel—an extravagant venue, a beach, a field, a backyard, or just outside that rustic barn. It’s so cute, tiny, and transportable, this “church” can go nearly anywhere.

About Ata-Girl

I am a San Antonio-based wedding photographer and I cater to outdoor-loving couples who prefer to have all the realness captured on their wedding days. I am the wedding photographer for the outdoor adventurers, the romantics, the laid back, the snugglers, and those who wish to capture all their realness.

I am absolutely in love with capturing the kinds of weddings where there are more hugs than handshakes, the dance floor rumbles all night long, and chairs are pretty much rendered useless after dinner. Whiskey bottles are passed around, most of the wedding party has been best-best friends since kindergarten, Grams is likely to lose her shoes and your partner is much more emotional than you are. These kinds of weddings are my jam!

You can always call or text, but if you really want to get to know me, schedule a meetup!

I started Ata-Girl Photography Co., LLC in 2010. I firmly believe that the unique set of circumstances I have faced in life has prepared me to take a personal and genuine interest in my photography clients. I enjoy documenting the important milestones and captivating moments in people’s lives. I love being a part of people’s journeys and consider myself privileged to document their legacies.

I am a published author (purchase my book here), a podcast host (listen here) (watch here) and a WPPI-C certified professional, full-time wedding photographer. I specialize in a 10-day image delivery, same-day prints, same-day slideshows, Italian handcrafted wedding albums and I have a mobile meeting space.

When I’m not behind my camera, you can find me hiking, cycling, backpacking, camping, enjoying water sports, listening to music (Elvis and Prince), hunting for arrowheads, reading audiobooks, occasionally eating a few glazed donuts (my only weakness to sweets) and then re-starting my keto diet about every 10 days. The most important things in life are for me to see my two daughters happy and to create a family history my grandparents and grandson would be proud of.
