Kody & Whitney’s South Texas wedding at The Sanctuary and the reception that followed at the Inez Community Center was totally off the chain! I have never, ever, never attended a more lively wedding and reception.

I have also never, ever, never heard so many compliments about a bride in her wedding dress on her wedding day. Whitney absolutely rocked every bead, every piece of lace, each inch of tulle, and ALL of the 96 buttons down the spine of her back. I have to agree with everyone who relayed those compliments to me. She looked simply amazing. There are no other words.

Whitney and her mother are the ONLY people I know who attend more weddings than any professional wedding vendor. As such, they are experts in their own right. When it came to decorating and designing Whitney’s own wedding, they pulled out all the stops. They did a fabulous job planning every detail and turning the blank canvas of a wide-open community center into a class-act reception venue. They may not know it yet, but rumor has it they will also be designing a few more weddings in their newly extended family. 🙂

Whitney elected to have a first look with both her dad and her groom in order to take care of all her family formals prior to the ceremony so she could get to the reception and start boogyin’. I did mention how rockin’ that thing was, didn’t I? Any how, the first look with her dad was just a tender moment. Whitney had prepared a letter for Keith and that sparked a lot of father/daughter emotion between the two. I was lucky to witness such love.

The girls finished off a bottle of champagne in about two-and-a-half minutes flat and celebrated with Michele and Tricia, the two moms, giving each other a high-five!

This group of guys goes down in my history books as the most spirited groomsmen EVER!

And I love this shot of Kody and Whitney during their first dance laughing and surrounded by their two dads!

I’m no Einstein, but the rockin’ reception may have had a little something to do with the copious amounts of Herradura® Especial Tequila that was consumed.

The happily wed couple said goodbye to their guests under an golden blanket of sparklers.
