Want to know about the photographic possibilities?
You can’t pass up portraits on the footbridge or in front of the lake’s fountain—especially at nighttime. Also worth noting, the ballroom has lots of windows making for lots of available light during the day. There’s always some wildlife looking to hang out in the background of your images too: deer and different kinds of water foul.
The lawns and flower beds are always in tiptop shape and will add a beautiful backdrop to all of your images. The live oak trees that envelop the driveway and parts of the backyard are definitely an added bonus that will spice up your afternoon backlit images!
You’ll want to be sure to hire a videographer who is an FAA-licensed drone operator because your ceremony beside the lake will be incredible when viewed from above.
Introduction of the Club at Garden Ridge
The Club at Garden Ridge can be described as a modern, elegant ballroom, or a lakeside garden. The Club is a neutral space full of architectural treasures and is the perfect atmosphere that can transform from a black-tie affair to a casual garden party, a sleek modern event, a boho vibe, or an elegantly rustic celebration.
Brief History of The Club at Garden Ridge
The Club at Garden Ridge was born from a 30-year-old established club. New life was breathed into all the existing space. The venue was built in what was once an overgrown meadow and now sits in a neatly-landscaped garden on the banks of a small lake that flows over a small waterfall into a creek. The Club at Garden Ridge has been hosting weddings since the spring of 2016.
Venue Options
To secure your wedding date, a 25% booking fee saves your date and the remaining balance is divided into payments.
The base price of $3,850 is simple and transparent and is based on the day of the week that your event is held.
You have 15 hours of access time to the venue for your event beginning at 9:00 a.m., with your event concluding by 11:00 p.m. Everyone, including your vendors, should be gone by midnight. Only one event is scheduled per day. All the Club’s indoor spaces are climate-controlled.
Ceremony, Cocktail & Reception Details
The main ceremony area is located outside just off the lake with a gorgeous fountain. The Club has a beautiful ceremony pavilion with a concrete aisle. There are also options for an indoor ceremony for up to 250 guests.
The Club’s couples typically host their cocktail hour outside on the luscious green grounds or wrap-around porch.
The ballroom is home to your reception and can accommodate up to 250 guests.
Other Amenities
The Club at Garden Ridge offers the best of both worlds—all the convenience of the city and the look and feel of the Texas Hill Country.
Your getting ready rooms (both for bride and groom), ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all in one place. There is a quaint footbridge in the back of the Club where some couples have chosen to sneak in a private moment or enjoy dinner together. Lodging is available at nearby hotels or area AirBNB’s within five minutes of the venue.
Requirements
Security—Yes, 1 officer per 150 guests
TABC Bartenders—Couples will be able to choose their bar service from a list of three approved bar service companies
Must Use Preferred Vendors—Catering and bar service is selected from a list of approved vendors representing all price points and menus
Outside Vendors Allowed—All other vendors are the couple’s choice
