Lambermont Events—San Antonio Weddings
Can we begin at dusk and work backward? Depending on the time of year, the exact angle will slightly vary, but generally speaking, the sun sets behind the loading ramp/parking lot of the Lambermont. This means, if placed correctly, you could have the perfectly backlit ceremony arch! Or, if your ceremony is a wee bit earlier in the afternoon, you can have the most golden couple’s portrait session. The side and back yards are edged in bamboo, so they’re always green! This makes for dreamy backgrounds no matter what time of year it is.
Don’t worry about hiring a drone… because your photographer can get those high-angled, overhead shots from the second floor. Moreover, the Lambermont is such a romantic property. It always reminds me of more of a castle than a mansion. Any of the porches, the grand staircase, or the music room are all perfect for pictures.
Circling back to nighttime, this mansion is incredible when it’s lit up. You don’t want to miss the opportunity for a nighttime portrait in front of this beauty.
Introduction of Lambermont Events
The current owners of Lambermont Events have been hosting grand events and intimate dinner parties since 2008. And I have to mention that if you want a very personal touch from some of your vendor team—Dona and Erica will add just that. At the end of your event, you’ll probably have two new friends.
Brief History of Lambermont Events
Built in 1894, Lambermont is an event venue in San Antonio nestled in the heart of downtown. It is considered a true historic jewel that offers unmatched character and warmth for any special event. Lambermont’s luscious grounds are ideal as a wedding venue in San Antonio, whereas its rooms inside offer a more intimate setting. Utilize both to create the perfect feeling. Lambermont also offers other amenities similar to a private hotel.
Venue Options
Lambermont Events’ basic rental fee ranges from $7,000 to $10,000 depending which package is chosen, but yours will be the only event scheduled at the mansion. You’ll have sole access to the property.
You can access the property beginning at 8:00 a.m. on the one-night package and at 1:00 p.m. the day before on the two-night package. Since you have access to the property for extended periods of time, it is your choice as to how long your actual event can be. There is room to accommodate 10 overnight guests in four bedrooms and a carriage house apartment. All sleeping quarters are climate-controlled with individually-set heating and air conditioning and have their own private bathrooms.
The mansion can comfortably seat about 70 people inside for dining on the first floor and accommodate about 150 people for a standing cocktail reception. More people can mingle if you choose to open up the second floor and porches. The mansion can also hold much smaller wedding ceremonies inside for about 50 standing people. The lawns outside can easily accommodate 300 people for a ceremony and reception. There is also access to male/female outdoor restrooms beneath the carriage apartment and a caterer’s preparation area in the main house.
You will need to vacate the premises at 1:00 p.m. the day after the wedding or event.
Ceremony, Cocktail & Reception Details
The Lambermont mansion and its lawns are literally a blank canvas. Options on where to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are endless. Lambermont Events prides itself on no two events being alike.
Other Amenities
Rental also includes access to a hair and makeup room, a babysitting room, and a kids’ party room.
The Lambermont parking lot is equipped with 13 standard parking spaces and 2 handicap parking spaces. Parking is also available on both sides of Grayson Street and one side of Willow Street. The church across Willow Street also allows the use of their parking lot as long as they do not have an event in progress.

Intimate Wedding
You and your guests have access to the beautifully decorated areas of Lambermont. You choose the three-event hour block between 9:00AM-10:00PM.
This packages includes:
- An indoor or outdoor ceremony area
- Background and ceremony music inside
- One complimentary cocktail per guest 21+ for toast
- Sweet lemon tea or lemonade and water
- A 2-tier vanilla cake with fresh flowers.
- Custom Bouquet and/or Boutonniere.
- Small Dance floor area for the first dance.
- Cake table, guest book table, gift table and mailbox for cards.
- Indoor and outdoor lounge seating.
- Property manager / Day of coordinator.
- One Dressing Room on second floor.
- Free Parking with attendant.
- Access to property 30 minutes prior to event for set up and
- 30 minutes after event for breakdown.
- Book between 2 weeks to 4 months out
- Only select dates available
- 4 hours up to 50 guests = $3,500.00
Day Event Rental
You, and up to 300 guests, have access to the beautifully decorated public areas of Lambermont, including a lush lawn for your festivities. You choose the six-hour event block between 10:00AM-Midnight.
This package includes:
- Access to Lambermont for a two-hour photography session, by appointment prior to the event
- Use of the 2nd-floor hair and make-up room
- Use of additional 2nd-floor dressing room
- On site property manager
- Use of in-house décor and lighting
- Access to property four hours prior to event for set up and two hours after event for breakdown
- Friday – Sunday $8,500.00
- Monday – Thursday $7,500.00
Destination Weekend
3 days/2 nights
You, and up to 300 guests, have access to the beautifully decorated public areas of Lambermont, including a lush lawn for your festivities.
This package includes:
- Access to Property at 1:00PM on the day before the big event for set up
- Two nights in the Luxury Suite, which includes a private veranda, a comfortable living room, and a jacuzzi tub for two
- Two nights in the Carriage House apartment, which includes a private kitchen and walk in closet
- 3 elegantly-decorated guest rooms with large private bathrooms
- Two guests may overnight in each of these rooms
- All overnight guests enjoy breakfast on both mornings
- 1-hour guided rehearsal time the day before the big event
- Option for rehearsal dinner or welcome party
- Complimentary assistance with weekend timeline
- Access to Lambermont for a two-hour photography session, by appointment prior to the event
- Use of the 2nd-floor hair and make-up room
- On site property manager and day of wedding coordinator
- Use of in-house lighting and decor
- 1PM Late check out on your last day
- Thursday – Sunday: $12,500.00
- Monday – Wednesday: $10,500.00
Brunch or Lunch at Lambermont
You and up to 100 guests have access to the beautifully decorated public areas of Lambermont, including a lush lawn for your activities. You choose the five-hour event block between 9:00am-5:00pm.
This Package includes:
- An outdoor ceremony area, including background music
- A 2-tier vanilla cake with fresh florals
- Small dance floor area for the first dance
- Cake table, guest book table, gift table and mailbox for cards
- Indoor and outdoor lounge seating
- Guest of honor florals
- Brunch or lunch
- Mimosa bar fixings with one bartender for two hours (alcohol not included)
- On site day of wedding doordinator and property manager
- Tables, chairs and basic white linen
- Choice of 60” round or 8ft tables
- Choice of folding white or mahogany chairs
- Photographer for up to four hours
- Use of 2nd-floor hair and make-up room
- Use of additional 2nd-floor dressing room
- Access to property 1.5 hours prior to event for set up and 1.5 hours after event for break down

The Deluxe Destination Wedding Experience
You, and up to 100 guests, have access to the beautifully decorated public areas of Lambermont, including a lush lawn for all of your festivities for three days and two nights.
This package includes:
- A professional wedding concierge to help guide you through the planning process
- Two nights in the Luxury Suite, which includes a private veranda, a
comfortable living room, and a jacuzzi tub for two
- Two nights in the Carriage House apartment, which includes a
private kitchen and walk in closet
- Three elegantly decorated guest rooms with large private bathrooms
- Two guests may overnight in each of these rooms and may enjoy a personalized welcome basket
- 1-hour rehearsal time with day of wedding planner
- One catered brunch that includes choice of Bloody Mary Bar or Mimosa Bar set up for up to 100 guests. (Client to provide alcohol.)
- One catered cocktail welcome party that includes Lambermont’s specialty cocktail for up to 100 guests
- Access to Lambermont for a two-hour photography session, by appointment prior to the event
- Up to 15 Tables, 200 chairs and 15 tablecloths for three days
