I love the day when I finally get to share a beautiful bride’s romantic bridal session! Such is the case with Laura who was just married 12 short days ago and is already back from her honeymoon! Back in July, Laura, her mom and I all ventured to San Antonio on a rainy day to capture these stunning images of Laura in her wedding gown. When Laura came down the stairs in the gown she had selected to wed in, I was blown away. It was flawless! She was perfection.

Right behind Laura’s beaming smile and bridal glow, her dress was front and center for this romantic bridal session. Her selection was an A-line silhouette with a bateau/boat neckline. The bodice was a combination of intricate rose lace, bead and sequence work. The skirt was lace and sequence only. Laura finished the look with the perfect satin sash belt and a mid-length veil which she traded in for a dramatic floor-length veil before the big day.

I want to go back to Laura’s beauty for a second. As beautiful of a person as she is on the outside… as pleasing as she is to your eye… her inner beauty far exceeds her outer beauty by days. This lady has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. I’m not even sure her face or her heart know how not to smile. She has such a tender heart and a joy that could light even the darkest of rooms. To make things even more perfect, I’m pretty sure she chose the exact male counterpart to marry—a perfect, ideal, seamless, absolute match (husband).

Being a wedding photographer comes with a lot of privileges, but being one of the first to see the beautiful bride in her wedding gown ranks among the tip top. The only thing that outranks the bridal portrait day is the fact that I get to document a host of amazing memories for so many families for so many generations… some of whom are not even here yet.

I have been so eager to share these images with you all, and now that Laura and Jordan are officially Mr. and Mrs. Alexander, I can! I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed my time with Laura and her mom. Laura, you are a stunning bride and I am so honored to have been a part of the beginning of your Alexander Legacy!
