Now that Whitney has officially become Mrs. Kody Taylor, I can finally share her stunning bridal session. Brace yourselves for some beautiful bridal images, people!

After her hair and makeup was completed in Edna, Whitney, her mom and her sister, traveled to San Antonio and to join her mother-in-law, sister-in-law and myself (aunt-in-law) for the bridal session. Yep! They drove over 300 miles that day in order to complete Whitney’s bridal session. I must admit… each and every mile was well worth it. Look at her! Hair… perfect! Makeup… flawless! Dress… don’t even ask! And Whitney… beyond beautiful!

It was July, so we spent most of the time shooting in the climate-controlled indoors. The entire first floor of the house is pristine. There are about four rooms to shoot in and there is this amazing stair case. But, Whitney did dare to brave outside, in the shady spots, for some outdoor shots. The terrace porches are so romantic! This place is a dream.

If Whitney had told me she had her gown custom designed, I would have totally believed her. It was made FOR HER. It fit her beautifully and wrapped around her curves like the elite street car racer, Vin Diesel, in The Fast and Furious. The button-up back was freakin’ fabulous! Honestly! Fabulous! More than one person at Whitney’s wedding reception told me this dress was the most beautiful wedding dress they had ever seen… and one of those persons has had a daughter get married within the last three years or so. You KNOW a dress is undeniably sensational when a mother admits it’s more awesome than her own daughter’s wedding dress was.

[The house that we used has some amazing history. Originally built around 1905, the owners had no children. At one time, it was the northern-most house in San Antonio. It has ties to the Pearl Brewery and to Pace Picante Sauce. Today, it is owned by the San Antonio College and used for events and weddings.]

Whitney purchased her gown from Destiny’s Bridal in San Antonio and shot her bridals at The Koehler House, a property of San Antonio College. Whitney’s hair and makeup was done by stylist, Kathryn Quinn of  The Parlour, Edna, Texas.
