Zachary and Jessica’s Plaza Club wedding was exquisite and elegant! The celebration took place 21 floors above downtown San Antonio and lasted deep into the night. After a very hectic start… and by hectic I mean: Jessica fired her limo driver on the way to the Plaza Club and asked to get out on the spot, Zach’s wedding ring couldn’t be located, the officiant’s own wedding ring stood in as a double, and Jessica’s mom and a few members of the bridal party arrived two minutes before the ceremony was to begin. This was a very hectic start, but my hat’s off to Jessica and her wedding planner, Melissa White. The two took all these hurdles in stride and never seemed to skip a beat. Despite the setbacks at the beginning of the day, Jessica and Zach shared a gorgeous, gorgeous Plaza Club wedding.
Jessica and Zachary’s mom, the matriarchs of the families, entered the ceremony holding hands.
Immediately after the ceremony, Jessica and Zachary were whisked away to a private room to share a few quiet minutes alone. Here, they reflected on their new life together and enjoyed champagne and hors d’oeuvres while overlooking the San Antonio cityscape.
As the sun finally set over downtown, they were being announced as Mr. & Mrs. After the first dance, the Jewish wedding meal was blessed over the challah, an elaborately braided bread. Jessica’s mom and sister read the prayer.
The dance floor was rockin’ all night long. I’m sure more than one person went home with a hole in their sock. What a beautiful day!
Here are a few of my favorite images from the night!
