Kat completed her second senior session with flying colors! (See her first session here.) During this session, Kat and her mom wanted to document all the time, all the hard work and all the commitments and achievements she has made by participating in high school softball and powerlifting. We had a lot of fun during the session getting really creative with lighting in the weight room and even adding some “hard work” into the portraits by spraying a little sweat on Kat’s face.

Katherine just returned from a trip to the Texas 4A State Powerlifting Meet where she broke a personal record: she bench pressed 185#!! Currently, her softball team is tearing it up in the Texas 4A’s Region 4 Softball bracket. They will be competing for an Area title this Friday and Saturday in a three-game series against Jones Beeville High School. Kat and the beloved Squaw softball team are very dear to my heart. I’ll be watching, cheering and willing them good fortunes as they head off into the Texas high school softball play-offs!

After graduation, Kat will be heading to Texas A&M in Corpus Christi. I wish her much luck and love as she enters this next chapter in her life.

Until next time, be positive, happy, healthy, and don’t forget to be photographed.
