I find the short string of birthdays that ends today a coincidental blessing.  October 23 was my brother’s 40th birthday; yesterday, the 24th, would have been my grandfather’s 108th birthday; and today marks the 68th year of my fabulous father’s life!  I find it fascinating that three Blalock men have birthdays one after the other as if it had been deliberately planned. And, these sequenced dates have always made them easier for me to remember.
