I am delighted to have the opportunity to photograph Cassandra’s country senior girl portraits for her entire senior year of high school!  NOT because I’ve known her parents since I was in high school.  NOT because I’ve known her since she was a kindergartner. NOT because I’ve watched her compete for years, and years, and years in community sports, selective team sports and school sports. And NOT because her daddy ran a 49-second quarter-mile!  (NOT because I’m writing all these fragments!) It’s because this is the sweetest senior I know.  I’m not sure Cassandra even knows the definition of moody.  The only “drama” she knows is the drama club.  In this regard, she is certainly not your average high school senior!

Like I said, Cassandra is a great girl! She competes in volleyball (HELLO! She was the Texas 29-AA 2013 Setter of the Year!), basketball and softball.  I believe she has also received all-district honors in each sport that she’s played on the varsity squads… and she’s been doing that regularly since her freshman year. She is also involved in the drama club and has competed in One-Act Play! Cassandra is applying to Texas A&M where she hopes to major in bio medical science and become an anesthesiologist.  Cassandra is a gem and I love her! Here are some of my favorite images from her first of four mini sessions with me.
