The weather was MUCH better this time around for Callie’s custom senior portrait session. The temperature wasn’t anywhere near the 36 degree mark it was at her last session. Besides the wind making intermittent interruptions in Callie’s perfectly styled hairdo, everything was just fabulous. The weather was so perfect… even the spring flowers were starting to bloom. They provided the perfect little pops of color to the background.
Callie is so beautiful, she’s been to a few proms—and not just her school proms, but from other schools as well. Callie has a few prom dresses so we decided to incorporate them into one of her sessions. This session can’t really be called a “trash the prom dress” session because we didn’t tear anything up, crawl through mud puddles, splatter paint or light anything on fire. But, we did have a lot of fun putting her expensive prom dresses to a good use rather than just the one-time wear they usually get.
Prom Dress Senior Session
I love the contrast between the sparkling formal gown and the backdrop of the country road. It’s like two things that have nothing in common, but mesh together harmoniously. It doesn’t make any real sense, but your eyes do not question the beauty of the image. This session is absolutely amazing and so is Callie!
Until next time, be positive, happy, and healthy, and don’t forget to be photographed.
