Why are slanty pictures so popular right now?  I mean really?!  Once, bell bottoms were thought to be cool.  How ’bout the big hair of the 1980’s… you like looking at that?  I know I don’t.  It embarrasses me.  About the only COOL trend I can recall from my generation is the “swatch.”  Other than that, every trendy thing I can remember was RIDICulous!  Parachute pants… Forget it!

One of my most recent favorite websites finds examples of bad photography from all over the web and re-posts them.  I do check in every so often to make sure they haven’t grabbed some of my early work… AND, I’ve made every attempt to remove it from the web.  But, despite all the bad pictures I have taken along the way, I have never taken a slanty picture… well, on purpose.

Take a picture that is in line with the horizon for God’s sake.  Please.  I don’t like having to tilt my monitor to the side to view your… art?  (Yes, the uptalk is deliberate.  Uptalk is pronouncing statements as if they were questions? Like this?)  How exactly do you frame that?  Do you really want to open your family albums 20 years from now and explain to grandchildren why everyone is slanting into the corner of the photo?

In addition to wedding photography, I also specialize in high school seniors and family portraits in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. I am a professional photographer who enjoys documenting the important milestones and captivating moments in people’s lives. I firmly believe that the unique set of circumstances I have faced in life has prepared me to take a personal and genuine interest in my photography clients. When I’m not photographing a wedding, family or high school senior, I enjoy watching my daughter play softball, hiking, cycling and listening to Elvis!
