A custom art piece is something that everyone should have in their home.  As a professional photographer who is always taking images of other people, the art I hang on my walls hasn’t always been a priority.  However, in the last few months, I have began purchasing custom art pieces for my own walls and will continue to add to my collection.  It’s feels nice to be surrounded by images of people I love!  It adds comfort and a feeling of security to my home.

The art pieces I have been making are gallery blocks.  I’m sure you’ve seen somewhat similar pieces from Wal-Mart or Walgreens called photo canvases.  However, there is a distinct difference in these two products.  The gallery blocks are nothing like the photo canvases.  The photo canvases I have seen from these franchised photo labs have dull and muted colors and the image is not sharp and crisp; it’s very soft.  The canvas is loosely wrapped and the corners are not tight.  The center of the canvas is not firm or sturdy.  It’s very bouncy.  Within a year of purchase, I have seen the felt backing coming off the canvas.

When you order a professional canvas gallery block, you get quality art—worthy to hang in your home!  A gallery block is a professional grade photographic print adhered to a solid wood backing/frame.  It is then laminated to insure there is no wearing, tearing or peeling. Your custom art piece comes with a fully finished backing ready to hang and with wall bumpers on the lower corners.  Each piece is also UV-coated for a fade resistant longevity and a super rich appearance.  The wrap is printed on Kodak Professional Endura Metallic Paper which gives it an enhanced pearly or glittery look.  It is then finished with a professional laminate that gives it extra protection and shine.  This insures the image is clear, crisp and sharp.  The colors and vibrant and have pop!  The gallery block feels firm and durable from top to bottom.   The gallery block has the tightest corners.  There’s also a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

You can use these gallery blocks as a different  and unique look to break up the monotony of an all-frame decor in your home.  The clean lines turn any image into a beautiful three-dimensional piece of custom wall art. They’re especially fun when used in a series of images and beautifully grouped together as a collage.  Gallery blocks would work well for engagement and wedding images and any senior or family portrait!  Display a custom art piece or seven in your home today!
