By routinely competing in international image competitions, it proves that I am committed to growing, learning, and becoming a better wedding photographer—for you. It means that I’m continually learning how to tell better stories by use of light, shadow, composition, emotion, layering, and post-processing, among other things. International image comp gives me the opportunity to receive constructive criticism from some of the best wedding photographers in the world! I’m not just teaching myself what I “think” is the best way to capture your day and allowing my work to become stagnant; I’m continually being taught and mentored by the very best.
