I’ve only known Nana about as long as my brother has been married to her daughter, Shanna, but I must say Nana is a really neat lady! And, I’m not even letting the fact that she makes the best banana pudding on the face of the planet weigh into my opinion. Actually, I’m absolutely sure everything she cooks is pretty tasty.
At 76-years-old, Barbara has lived a full life and doesn’t appear to be stopping anytime soon. I don’t even think she’s slowing down. She still works a full-time job (although she is planning on retiring pretty soon), lives by herself, drives all around south Texas, and I’ve never even seen her wear glasses. She has impeccable taste in clothing, jewelery, interior design and the company she keeps. She is always full of energy. When she’s visiting her daughter and I’m around, all I hear is, “Mom, sit down. Mom, sit down. Mom!! Sit down!!”
She’s mom to five kids, grandmother to 21 and GREAT grandmother to 22 with two on the way. Barbara always seems happy and content and if she ever has a bad day, I’ve never seen it. Again, Barbara is an extremely neat lady and I’m confident if my memaw and mom were around to meet her, they’d agree with me.
Charlie, Frederick, Winston, Paul or Hugh… here’s Barbara! Act quickly, she’s a keeper!
I started Ata-Girl Photography Co. in 2010 and I am a San Antonio based wedding photographer who is available for destination weddings. In addition to wedding photography, I also specialize in San Antonio senior portraits and senior portraits for high school seniors in the surrounding areas. I am a professional photographer who enjoys documenting the important milestones and captivating moments in people’s lives. I firmly believe that the unique set of circumstances I have faced in life has prepared me to take a personal and genuine interest in my photography clients. When I’m not photographing a wedding, family or high school senior, I enjoy watching my daughter play softball, hiking, cycling and listening to Elvis!
