The third theme for the 365-day photo challenge was landscapes and horizons. Even though I have lost just about every participant from the challenge – at least those who are participating on a daily basis, one has remained loyal. I’d like to give a shout out to Troubled Angel Photography in Floresville, Texas. She took some really great landscape pictures during this theme. (Thanks, Lisa!)
However, I do realize that this photo challenge is taking tremendous commitment and diligence. It’s a little taxing on me and it was MY idea. It’s even becoming a small struggle to write these recaps. I seem especially overwhelmed right now, but I am also a little behind in my regular work load. Hopefully, I will be caught up soon and this challenge will be more enjoyable.
Here are the pictures I took daily during the third theme.
Things I learned:
- I love nature! (No, I already knew that!)
- Skies look so much better when they are not blown out.
- Horizons and landscapes can be more interesting than just trees and dirt.
I appreciate everyone who participated in this part of the challenge-even those that are not paricipating daily! Thanks for your time! Three themes are now complete, and only 21 themes to go!

I started Ata-Girl Photography Co. in 2010 and I am one of the premier San Antonio wedding photographers who is available for local and destination weddings. In addition to wedding photography, I also specialize in high school seniors and family portraits in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. I am a professional photographer who enjoys documenting the important milestones and captivating moments in people’s lives. I firmly believe that the unique set of circumstances I have faced in life has prepared me to take a personal and genuine interest in my photography clients. When I’m not photographing a wedding, family or high school senior, I enjoy watching my daughter play softball, hiking, cycling and listening to Elvis!
