It’s not every day that I get to celebrate a college graduation with my best nephew! (I crossed my fingers as I typed that.) It took him three different colleges (four, if you count the dual credit courses in high school) and nearly five years (changed majors three times and took a bunch of unneeded classes while he played baseball at Ranger), but he finally did it. I know his mom spent a lot of nights on the phone coaxing him to finish. Along the way, Kody faced many distractions, challenges and probably a few frustrations too. But, he did it! He finished despite wanting to become a professional fishing guide at one point! He’s even made plans to get his master’s and sit for the CPA exam. (I wonder if he’ll help file my taxes?)

Here’s a few of my favorite images from his special day!

Word to the wise: just because you have a BBA in accounting does not qualify you to operate PayPal. Until next time, be positive, happy, and healthy, and don’t forget to be photographed.
