What a lovely session we had for Kat’s San Antonio senior portraits! After what seems like weeks of icky weather and one reschedule, everything finally came together perfectly!! The day could not have been any more flawless. The weather was excellent—that includes the wind, the temperature, the lack of bugs and precipitation.
Kat is another young lady who belongs to someone I grew up with. I graduated with her mom some 28 years ago. And, I’ve been very close with her entire family over the course of the last ten years or so because we were in the same softball family. We spent many a days on the road to play ball which includes a cross-country trek to Florida. I have many special memories of this family that span nearly 40 years. Relationships like this make it even more honorable to photograph and capture such a special time. I am truly blessed.
Kat stays busy by competing in softball and powerlifting. She also participates in the Spanish Club, was part of the Homecoming Committee and is active with St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. Kat attends the Teen Acts retreats with St. Philip Benizi as often as she can. When she is not occupied with school or church activities, she enjoys swimming, fishing and hunting. Kat plans to attend TAMUCC this fall after she graduates.
Katherine, or Kitty Kat as I call her, is a great gal! I’m not sure I’ve seen her face too many times without an infectious smile all over it. She’s just absolutely gorgeous. Look at her!! I can’t wait for her next two sessions!
