Last year, I was fortunate enought to attend SXSW in Austin, Texas for my work. During the five-day event, I sat in on a presentation from Rainn Wilson, from The Office, promoting his new website, SoulPancake. SoulPancake is a feel-good resource “designed to open your mind, challenge your friends, and feel damn good.” They featured this video from Kid President that does exactly that. Kid President is an incredible inspiration and if he ever does make a bid for the White House, I’d probably vote for him. I don’t know how old he is, but he seems to have life figured out already. What a neat kiddo!
“Stop being boring, you’re gooder than that!”
“Dont stop believing unless your dream is stupid.”
At the beginning of January, I detailed ten very detailed goals I wanted to accomplish in 2013. This video is inspiration that I must succeed at becoming a full-time wedding photographer. I will take the road less traveled. I will encounter rocks, and glass, and thorns. But, I want to be on the road that leads to awesome.
Of the ten goals, I can completely scratch one off of the list, one is half-way met and two, which will run the course of the year, are right on track. And, with a little luck and planning, the other six will fall right into place.
Thank you, Kid President.
I started Ata-Girl Photography Co. in 2010 and I am a San Antonio based wedding photographer who is available for destination weddings. In addition to wedding photography, I also specialize in San Antonio senior portraits and senior portraits for high school seniors in the surrounding areas. I am a professional photographer who enjoys documenting the important milestones and captivating moments in people’s lives. I firmly believe that the unique set of circumstances I have faced in life has prepared me to take a personal and genuine interest in my photography clients. When I’m not photographing a wedding, family or high school senior, I enjoy watching my daughter play softball, hiking, cycling and listening to Elvis!
