[pullquote style=”right” quote=”dark”]A picture is a secret about a secret, the more it tells you the less you know.”
~ Diane Arbus[/pullquote] Although I took a few pretty cool pictures during the month of August (cool image, cool image), this image has to be my favorite. It speaks to me… almost as if I know exactly what this young bride is thinking.
When I look at this image, I see that she is completely lost in this moment. Everything she has come to know in life up until this moment will change on this day. In all likelihood, she has planned for this day since she was a very young girl even spending many nights discussing the event with her best friends. She has spent the last year planning every last detail… right down to placing her great-grandmother’s pendants in her bouquet. She’s planned a fabulous party for all her family and close friends so they may share this magical day right by her side. She’s anxious, unsure, excited, hopeful, curious, and ready… ready for this to finally happen. She has pictured herself walking down the aisle many times, but today it will happen for real. This dream will be come a reality—her reality.
