I believe I’ve been camping all my life.  My camping trips have varied between two opposites and included every kind of camping in between.  On one end is 10-day Army training stints with no shower… for the entire 10 days.  Flanking that is a 1,200-mile road trip in a Class A motor home with a microwave and satellite television.  I’ve backpacked, car camped and cowboy camped.  Once, I even camped in Paris.  🙂  Needless to say, I love camping.

Since I ETS’d out of the Army, I’ve been taking my own daughters to Concan any time I had a chance.  At this point in my life, and since I haven’t yet made it to Belize, Concan is my most favorite place on Earth.  The crystal clear, spring fed river is about as relaxing as a body of water can get.  (But again, I’ve never experienced a hot spring.)

During the week-long vacation, I managed to pick up my camera only twice.  The shutter captured 92 images, and maybe only half of those were by me.  Here are are few of the favorites.  Thanks to William, who sometimes and reluctantly assistants me, for grabbing a few of me soaking in a bit of the Frio.  Until next time, be positive, be happy, be healthy, and don’t forget to be photographed.  Don’t forget to camp either!
