[I have to preface with blog post with an apology. I have been so extremely busy with finishing up senior sessions that I’ve totally neglected my blog for the last month or so. In fact, I’ve been so busy, I think I discovered my limit for senior sessions in order to avoid the dreaded burnout. I’m sorry for not telling all these fabulous seniors’ stories sooner, but I just didn’t have time.]

Chase’s country boy senior session was a bit reminiscent of a session he had had years before with another photographer. His mom came up with the idea to recreate some images he had taken as a young boy. We went to the same location, copied the clothes, the hat and the rope and mimicked the poses. It was fun to recreate the memories for this family a decade later.

In addition to recreating the cowboy images for Chase, we had to take some lifestyle images of him fishing. He loves to fish. In fact, I think by this point in the session, he was more concerned with actually catching fish than he was with posing for me. I’m pretty sure he forgot I was even there. But, I can understand Chase’s love of fishing, because he was pretty good at it. He must have caught about 17 fish during the 30 or 45 minutes that we were shooting at this location.
